DJ Lino biography :
Lino Meoli, born and raised in New York City, has been raised in a musical environnement since early childhood. His father was a precursor of House music in mid 80´s and played the best night clubs in New York, Miami and Philadelphia. His grand father was a renowned rock musician who toured the world in the 50´s. Lino has immersed himself in a world of sounds which naturally brought him to mixing and producing music of all kinds.
Currently based in between New York, Miami and Paris he is part of a musical group, produced by "V".
" I grew up with music all around as a kid, i was given my first pair of turntables when i was just 12 years old. Which gives me about 8 years of experience as a dj. I remember the first vinyls i ever got was “ready to die” by Biggie Smalls and “smooth operator” by Big Daddy Kane. It was from then on that i grew a passion for mixing and cutting records. I spend most of my time in the studio scratching and preparing mixtapes. I can say with confidence that there is no other dj out there that can do what i can with records and CDs. I love to showcase my skills to everyone i can. I will set the roof on fire, and let it burn all night..haha..PEACE OUT!! "

"DJ LINO"
LINOはNYCで生まれて育ち、幼少の頃から音楽に触れる環境で育つ。
父はNYCにて80'sにHOUSE MUSICのプロデューサーとして
マイアミやフィラデルフィアを中心に活躍し、また祖父は50'sにRockミュージシャンとして活動。
音楽の世界に自然と溶け込んでいったLINOは、あらゆるジャンルでの
"Mixing"や"Producing"を可能としている。
現在はNYC、Miami、Parisと今回は東京も加えてプロデューサー"V"の元で活動中。
幼い頃から音楽の世界に触れる環境で育つ中で、LINOが初めてターンテーブルを
与えられたのが若干１２歳の時。
１２歳で始め、今日まで８年間のDJ経験を持つ。
初めて自分で購入したレコードは"Biggie Smalls"の"Ready To Die"と
"Big Daddy Kane"の"Smooth Operator"の２枚をLINO自身が記憶している。
その後、MixやScratchの練習に加え、これまでの時間の大半をデモテープ作成や
Scratchに費やしてきた。
RecordやCDを使用したLINOのテクニックを他のDJが真似をするのは難しいし、
なによりLINO自身がテクニックそのものに自信を持っているからだと考える。
彼は大勢の観客の前で自分のDJ Skillを披露するのが大好きで、
一晩中フロアの火が消えることは無いと思う。
